The Super Sail Tour of the PROSAIL Sail Events Germany has stood for more than 20 years of the most attractive, international sailing with top sailors, cool party atmosphere and lots of fun for everyone involved shore and offshore. Grömitz, the Baltic Sea spa of the sunny side, is the season opener in the Hobie sailors.
From the 7th to the 10th of June Grömitz will once again be dominated by this outstanding sailing event. The organizers Detlef Mohr and Willy Trautmann expect the colorful Hobie 16 catamarans as always in a big field of 50 boats or more, set their sails and deliver exciting races. With its ideal infrastructure, numerous visitors and plenty of fine sandy beach, Grömitz offers the catamaran cracks, organizers and sponsors the best conditions for the next weekend. This fact has meanwhile not only rumored in Germany. “We expect the sailors from our neighboring countries,” said Jens Hannemann, press officer at PROSAIL. “The weather is always great, the wind is reliable and the atmosphere on land and among sailors on the water is always excellent.”
The Super Sail Tour is an event series that is not only for sailors and their families, but also for the spectators to experience the fascination of sailing at first hand. On a sailing simulator the various maneuvers of sailing instructors are demonstrated, showing the thousands promenade visitors up close, as it comes on board a catamaran. Taster sailing is possible with prior registration and appropriate weather in cooperation with a sailing school.
In addition, on the stage close to the racing village will heat up the music program and create a great atmosphere and party. PROJEKT CARAMBA will be playing on Friday, June 7th, and will certainly ensure a great atmosphere again. Saturday night the band THE WUNDER and on June 9th WANNA BEATZ.
As always, Super Sail Tour events are free for visitors.
